J'PAN is the fifth restaurant in the concept of authentic Japanese cuisine, located on Chayanova Street in Moscow. Despite the fact that the chain is small, we strive to create a fresh and original interior design for each restaurant without combining them.

The main idea behind J'PAN was to create a minimalist but distinctive interior, echoing the authenticity of Japanese cuisine. The emphasis was on shapes and details rather than bright colors and flashy elements. We avoided sharp angles, favoring rounded window and door frames and cylindrical sofa bases. To create a warm and inviting atmosphere, we used textured materials - multi-format relief plaster, fluted glass and beech wood furniture. The layout of the restaurant was designed to create cozy and intimate spaces, while maintaining the overall feeling of spaciousness. ...

One of the advantages of the space was the large arched windows, which flooded the restaurant with natural light throughout the day. We made the most of this feature by designing the interior of the restaurant to allow light to penetrate every corner of the room. We transformed a less attractive area of the restaurant by incorporating a bar counter, a decorative rattan wall and a fabric panel to make it comfortable and visible to guests.

The layout of J'PAN was also thoughtfully designed to accommodate private and cozy dining areas, while maintaining a spacious overall feel. Decorative partitions and soft wall textures similar to those in other J'PAN restaurants were used to maintain the connection to the established chain, but with a fresh and exciting twist.

The main task was to create a unique interior design that would be connected with the rest of the chain. We used similar solutions, such as decorative partitions and soft wall textures, but in a different way and using different materials. The result is an original interior that retains a connection to the brand.
